The Laughing Giraffe's vision is of a world where:

• every child grows up knowing that all human beings are equally precious, acting from a balance of care for themselves and consideration for others
• every family creates a nurturing home, in which each individual's needs are held as equally important
• every school provides a caring environment which encourages intellectual, physical, emotional and spiritual growth for teachers and students
• every community is a network of mutual support where members see differences as an opportunity for growth and enhanced relationship

The Laughing Giraffe offers courses where participants can explore how to establish a quality of connection with children which is characterised by compassion, deep listening, respect and mutual giving.  Where that connection is present, children and adults thrive.  

Courses are based on Compassionate Communication, with an emphasis on working with the particular challenges individuals are facing in their interactions with children.  They contain principles and practical tools for anyone who wants to support children to flourish, from parents and carers to teachers, childcare professionals and community leaders.
